winter also whenever you want to wear it you have to remove it and for all that you have to make all the arrangements because they have a smell and sometimes some stains are there on it or again you need to wash it and those furry things to wash is a big task. So you have to make many prior arrangements when you want to wear it

Storage and maintenance I think I should try something better way for storage because I have so many clothes and sometimes it becomes very difficult like jackets they used to get spoilt and you get that white patches on the leather jacket which I cleaned with coconut oil just because which I heard on Google and my fur jackets to send them to laundry each time is very expensive

If you are going to travel and you haven’t opened up your woollens fora long time then what I have noticed is the smell and sometimes I don’t have that time to laundry them and take them along so they just have some kind of a smell which is there if it is not used

I usually wear gowns in party I will be having 10-15 gowns so for storing them I have specially made a cupboard of that height because of long lengths but maintaining them is again an issue like in the rainy season when I just open the cupboard in COVID there were all fungus on my gown 2-3 of my gown which had embroidery had fungus so I had to give them to the laundry

Western clothes I feel horrible sometimes they are just folded and you have a lot of fabric which is bulky and it occupies a lot of space but we are on short of space I just have to fold them and then they are one on the top of other which is definitely not my ideal choice of storing my clothes typically I would love to have them on a hanger and cover it with a nice plastic cloth covering so they stay better but that’s a really luxury for a space I don’t have

For party clothes I very often do laundry them I would send them out to laundry but my concern with that is that after laundry I have to again pack it like that and I have to put it away so when you want to wear it again those creases are there which means that I need to again iron them which is an additional cost first of all and the effort that I have to pre-plan at least a day or two ahead of the day I want to wear it…

it’s a big concern we live in compact apartments here in Mumbai and in for my matter it’s 850 Sq. Ft. with 2 bed room wherein my kids share room so yes storage is a big-big concern. I am particularly fond of lot of clothes shoes bags how do I store it’s a challenge. Some of my Indian wears which are the most expensive outfits but seldom use sometimes just kept for sentimental are just packed away in plastic bags pouches on the top of my cupboard

One of my very favourite saris got yellow stains I am so depressed about that because it was a nice whitish cream color and I had opened up all the saris during the pandemic and aired them out but during normal routine I don’t get time.
